Generator Won't Charge the Battery? Step-by-Step Troubleshooter
Generator running, battery not charging? Work through it.
Use a proper 240V battery charger plugged into the generator, not the generator's own 12V outlet, unless its manual says that outlet charges batteries. Work through one question at a time. You can go back or start over whenever you like.
